This Privacy Policy explains how MicaraTools (“we”, “us”) handles information when you visit https://micaratools.com. We’ve tried to keep it plain and honest.

The calculators don’t collect your inputs

Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. The numbers and dates you type into a calculator are processed on your own device and are not sent to us or stored on any server. Close the tab and they’re gone.

Analytics

We use web analytics to understand which tools are popular and how the site is performing. This collects information such as page views, clicks, referring sites, and general device or country data, which we use only in aggregate to improve the site. Our product analytics (PostHog) sets a first-party cookie to recognise your browser across pages of this site so we don’t double-count a single visit. It is not used to track you across other websites or to build an advertising profile of you, and we do not sell this data.

To understand and improve how the tools work in practice, we also record anonymised session activity (such as mouse movement, clicks, and page navigation) using PostHog’s session replay. The values you type into a calculator are masked and are not captured in these recordings. We use them only to find and fix usability problems, and you can opt out of analytics and recording at any time by blocking cookies for this site or using a content blocker / privacy extension in your browser.

Advertising

We display ads through Google AdSense to keep the site free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
